Pedigrees of the MacNamara Family

by R.W. Twigge, F.S.A.
This book gives the history of the MacNamara Clan from the time of the
semi-mythical heroes of the second century AD, to the end of the nineteenth
century, in pedigree form, and deals with some of the later emigration of
the clan to England, Wales and France. There are many excerpts from family
papers and several fold-out pedigrees to enable the reader to follow the
story. The book, first published in 1908 by R. W. Twigge, was published in a
very limited number, nearly 100 years ago, for the immediate family of the
author, who had married Frances Susan MacNamara of Ennistymon House, Co.
Clare in Ireland. The book has been recently published by Martin Breen who
has already republished other rare volumes of O'Brien and MacNamara
histories from the nineteenth century.
Approximately 100 pages.
